Student Printing with Papercut

With the merger of EIT and Tairawhiti Polytechnic, from 2012 there is a consistent approach to printing for both campuses and the regional learning centres.

All EIT students have a Papercut Account for printing.

You will have $10 printing allowance loaded onto your 2012 Student ID card/Printing Account

We are offering you a one-time deal of$10 free top-up.  This means that when you get your Student ID card from the Library, it will have $10 pre-loaded.  When your $10 has run out, you need to go to the Library to purchase a top-up card.  These are in $1, $2, $5, $10 or $20 denominations.

Take your top-up card to a computer and you should see the Papercut icon up in the right upper corner.  Click on Details and login using your EIT login and password.

You can view and manage your printing by logging into your Papercut account using your username and password.

When you need to top up you can purchase a top-up card from the Library. 

Log into Papercut, select Redeem Card, type the card number you have purchased, and press Redeem Card.

Welcome to Moodle 2.1!

EITOnline has successfully been upgraded to Moodle 2.1.

This upgrade allows EIT as an institution to add new functionality and features to EITOnline in the coming months and years ahead.

EITOnline is now ready for staff and students to continue using it as they have previously done, so enjoy!

‘Beat the AUSSE’ results are here. Our final participation rate was 19%. So thank you to over 500 students who answered the questionnaire and in this way help EIT to improve our performance.

What happens next:

EIT’s academic services will now analyse the data and recommend areas and topics that EIT needs to focus on to improve.

We will keep you up to date with the progress and follow up the progress in another AUSSE survey next year.
