- Identify and define parametric relationships. Create a parametric model to a pre-defined brief. Investigate a parametric modelling application. Create a rendered image of the 3D model, showing parametric constraints. Manage a project file. Create a presentation of completed work.
Computer Aided Design is a course focusing on producing simple two-dimensional and three-dimensional drawings or models using a Computer Aided Design system. Technical drawings, details and computer models will be created using application features designed to increase productivity in the workplace. You will also be taught how to set up a basic CAD environment, look at valuable file management and functional CAD library practices.
- Computing Concepts is intended to build up skill and proficiency in basic computer knowledge relevant to the design workplace. Hardware and software applications are the backbone to this course, developing competency in the area of basic computer use and knowledge. This course will provide valuable knowledge that will be used in CCAD4.12 Design Processes and Documentation.
- Students will learn to write reports and documentation processes that are relevant to technical design, and presentation and team work skills that will be put into full practice in DCAD6.04
- Write a concise and interesting paragraph here that explains what this course is about
This course is about identifying and applying internationally recognised standards, creating manually, design concept drawings and sketches, working drawings, 3D presentations drawings and physical models.
